I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. I moved to Orlando to pursue a dream to perform at Walt Disney World. It was there that I met my husband of 23 years. We have 3 awesome kids!  They are very involved in the sports and keep us very busy.

I came to UCELC as a parent with my son. He attended pre-k here and I served as a volunteer. I had never wanted to be a part of something so badly as when my child attended pre-k. I applied for a position and I am now in my 11th year.   I still truly enjoy every minute of it!

I actually have the greatest joy watching these little guys grow throughout the program.  I have had the blessing of being a part of their families for their preschool years and beyond.  I hope to always leave a little spot in their heart as they will be a part of mine forever!

I moved to Oviedo when I was 4 years old. I graduated from Oviedo High School and attended Seminole State College where I got my general AA. I then packed up my car and moved to New York, just to see if I can make it on my own. I eventually moved back after realizing life without Disney, the beach, and greenery all year long is not the life for me!

I am a proud mama to my eleven year old fur baby, a pit bull/ lab mix, that I rescued at only a couple weeks old. She has taught me to use my voice to help those who don't have one!

I have always had a passion for working with young kids. The reward of watching little ones learn and grow throughout the year is the best! I have been blessed with the opportunity to work at a few schools including UCELC in 2006 and the University Carillon nursery (my very first job) teaching children ages 1-4.

I am excited to be back and apart of the UCELC family and cannot wait to start this new journey with you and your family!

I was born in New York and moved down to Florida where I attended UCF and met my husband. I enjoyed a career in Finance until I chose to become a stay-at-home mom when my daughter was born. Three years later, we were blessed with boy/girl twins. I learned of UCELC when we relocated back to the area. I was so impressed with the warm, Christian environment, teaching style, and staff, that we enrolled the twins into a 3-year old class and then VPK the following year. After spending time in the classrooms as a volunteer at UCELC, I felt it was a good fit for me as well. I began as a substitute teacher, and soon joined as a support teacher. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school. I'm excited to work with your children and help them learn and grow here at UCELC!

My husband and I are from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and moved to Oviedo in 2000. We have three teenage children. I was fortunate to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for several years to nurture them and watch them grow.
I have had the privilege of working with special needs and preschool children and have taught 3rd grade Faith Formation classes. I am thrilled to be part of this amazing team of teachers at UCELC. I am thankful for the opportunity to be working in a loving, nurturing Christian environment where children learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence while they play. I love my job. Every day is different. I’m excited to learn and explore with your children this year! I believe I’m where I need to be according to God’s plan.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States at the age of 7. I lived in Queens, New York, where I grew up and went to school. I moved to Orlando in 1992 and have 3 beautiful children. I am very family oriented and very involved in my children’s lives. They are my first priority. I was a stay-at-home mom until I became an Early Childhood Educator. I decided to teach preschool when my daughter started attending. I wanted to be involved, so I volunteered and did some substitute work. I realized that being a teacher is what I really want to do, so I got my Florida Staff Credential certification. I want to work with children and make a difference in their lives, by teaching them while they are learning and playing in the process. My greatest joy is to see their progress and growth throughout the school year. I have worked in a preschool environment for many years teaching 3-year olds and VPK. I am blessed to be a part of the UCELC family!

I was born in Plymouth, England and have been blessed with two wonderful children. I have a degree in early childhood education. I worked as an early years teacher in public schools in the U.K for ten years. I moved to Orlando in 1999 because of my husband’s work. In 2004, I started teaching VPK and three year olds in Orlando. In 2014, I joined the staff of UCELC and love being a teacher at this great school. I feel privileged to be working with your children and look forward to helping them learn and develop over the school year.

I was born in New York but moved to Florida 1992 where I met my husband (who is also a native New Yorker).
I spent 16 years working in the defense industry for Grumman Corporation until my son was born.  A few years later my daughter was born and I knew my focus had changed and I was ready for a new career.
We joined the church and enrolled our children at UCELC.  The dedication and devotion of the staff led me to join as a 2 year old support teacher.  I continued as a support in the 2,3 and 4 year old classrooms until 2006. I left for a year to substitute in the Orange County Public school system.
I was lucky enough to rejoin UCELC in 2007.  I returned as a VPK lead teacher.  I have been here for 11 years now and I love spending time with the children in such a special place.

I am a Florida native who has lived in Orlando since 2001. I am married and have two fantastic daughters. I am a graduate of University of South Alabama and worked briefly as a Child Protective Services Counselor for DCF before becoming a stay-at-home-mother. When my younger daughter was old enough for school, I became a preschool teacher. Over the years I have worked with 2, 3, and 4 year olds and I love watching little brains grow and develop. I feel blessed to teach in the wonderful family-oriented, Christian environment here at UCELC and I look forward to the journey each new school year brings.

I am an only child who was raised by my grandparents in a small town called Christmas, Florida

After my twentieth birthday I met a wonderful man. His name is Sean and was in the United States Navy and now we have four wonderful children.

My youngest children started at UCELC. I did a lot of volunteer work and really enjoyed being around the children and the school. My son’s last year I began to work as a substitute support and the following year I moved into a full time position.

I feel that God had plans for me to be in this school and to be with these wonderful families. I’ve been here several years and hope to continue on for many more. I can’t see myself being any other place.
