I am originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. I moved to Orlando to pursue a dream to perform at Walt Disney World. It was there that I met my husband of 23 years. We have 3 awesome kids!  They are very involved in the sports and keep us very busy.

I came to UCELC as a parent with my son. He attended pre-k here and I served as a volunteer. I had never wanted to be a part of something so badly as when my child attended pre-k. I applied for a position and I am now in my 11th year.   I still truly enjoy every minute of it!

I actually have the greatest joy watching these little guys grow throughout the program.  I have had the blessing of being a part of their families for their preschool years and beyond.  I hope to always leave a little spot in their heart as they will be a part of mine forever!

I was born and raised in Oviedo, FL where I grew up attending UCUMC with my family. Since 2011, I have been working with the UCUMC Children's Ministry team and recently was promoted to the Clubhouse Coordinator. I previously received my AA degree in Elementary Education from Seminole State College. Currently, I attend the University of Central of Florida and will earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. As the youngest of four girls, I enjoy hanging out with my family and my niece. As a Florida girl, I'm a Disney enthusiast and visit the parks on a weekly basis. I've always had a passion for teaching young children, and look forward to starting this new journey at UCELC!

I was born in New York and moved down to Florida where I attended UCF and met my husband. I enjoyed a career in Finance until I chose to become a stay-at-home mom when my daughter was born. Three years later, we were blessed with boy/girl twins. I learned of UCELC when we relocated back to the area. I was so impressed with the warm, Christian environment, teaching style, and staff, that we enrolled the twins into a 3-year old class and then VPK the following year. After spending time in the classrooms as a volunteer at UCELC, I felt it was a good fit for me as well. I began as a substitute teacher, and soon joined as a support teacher. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school. I'm excited to work with your children and help them learn and grow here at UCELC!

My husband and I are from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and moved to Oviedo in 2000. We have three teenage children. I was fortunate to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for several years to nurture them and watch them grow.
I have had the privilege of working with special needs and preschool children and have taught 3rd grade Faith Formation classes. I am thrilled to be part of this amazing team of teachers at UCELC. I am thankful for the opportunity to be working in a loving, nurturing Christian environment where children learn and experience new challenges that will help build their confidence while they play. I love my job. Every day is different. I’m excited to learn and explore with your children this year! I believe I’m where I need to be according to God’s plan.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States at the age of seven. I lived in Queens, New York, where I grew up and went to school. I moved to Orlando, Florida in 1992 where I now live with my husband and 3 beautiful children. I am very family oriented and very involved in my children’s lives. They are my first priority.

I was a stay-at-home mom until I became an Early Childhood Educator. I decided to teach preschool when my daughter started attending preschool. I wanted to be involved, so I volunteered and did some substitute work. I realized that being a teacher is what I really want to do. I want to work with children and make a difference in their lives, by teaching them while they are learning and playing in the process. My greatest joy is to see their progress and how they grow throughout the school year.I have worked in a preschool environment for 7 years teaching 3-year olds and VPK. I am blessed to be a part of the UCELC family!

I was born in Plymouth, England and have been blessed with two wonderful children who are now in middle and high school. I have a degree in early childhood education. I worked as an early years teacher in the public schools in the U.K for ten years. I moved to Orlando in 1999 because of my husband’s work. In 2004, I became a lead teacher at St. Stephen Weekday School, a Christian school, in East Orlando. I taught the three year olds, and the VPK program for four year olds there until recently.

This will be my first year at UCELC and I am excited to be a staff member at this great school. I feel privileged to be working with your children and look forward to watching them learn and develop over the school year.

I was born in Lima, Peru and lived with my family in California where I opened a licensed home day care until we moved to Florida. Here in Florida I was a stay home mom blessed with two children. I volunteered every year at their schools teaching Super Scientists, Spanish, and helping out in the special needs class. Later on, I worked in the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant, but my call for teaching and children brought me back to this wonderful preschool where my son attended years ago. My love for our Lord will be my guide to provide each child with a caring, loving and safe learning environment.

I was born in New York but moved to Florida 1992 where I met my husband (who is also a native New Yorker).
I spent 16 years working in the defense industry for Grumman Corporation until my son was born.  A few years later my daughter was born and I knew my focus had changed and I was ready for a new career.
We joined the church and enrolled our children at UCELC.  The dedication and devotion of the staff led me to join as a 2 year old support teacher.  I continued as a support in the 2,3 and 4 year old classrooms until 2006. I left for a year to substitute in the Orange County Public school system.
I was lucky enough to rejoin UCELC in 2007.  I returned as a VPK lead teacher.  I have been here for 11 years now and I love spending time with the children in such a special place.

I am a Florida native who has lived in Orlando since 2001. I am married and have two fantastic daughters. I graduated from University of South Alabama and worked briefly as a Child Protective Services Counselor for DCF before becoming a stay-at-home-mother. After my youngest was school age, I became a preschool teacher and over the years I have worked with 2s, 3s, and 4s. I love watching little brains grow and develop. This will be my first year at UCELC and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach in a family-oriented, Christian environment. I am looking forward to the journey this year will bring.

I am an only child who was raised by my grandparents in a small town called Christmas, Florida

After my twentieth birthday I met a wonderful man. His name is Sean and was in the United States Navy and now we have four wonderful children.

My youngest children started at UCELC. I did a lot of volunteer work and really enjoyed being around the children and the school. My son’s last year I began to work as a substitute support and the following year I moved into a full time position.

I feel that God had plans for me to be in this school and to be with these wonderful families. I’ve been here several years and hope to continue on for many more. I can’t see myself being any other place.
